Meghan Trainor and Victoria Beckham may differ in shape but their ideas behind dress size are pretty consistent. It doesn’t matter.
First, after reading my Girl Power Hour post my (ever so brilliant and beautiful) mentor introduced me to one bada$$ songbird. She’s 20 years old and is topping charts with only 9 weeks under her (perfectly fitted) belt.
Meet Meghan Trainor!
In this doo-woppin’ cutie pie’s new hit “All About That Bass” she claims “every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top” and that she “won’t be no stick figure silicone Barbie doll, so if that’s what you’re into then go ahead and move along.” Right on Meg.
Second. I just read an article from the Guardian on Victoria Beckham I loved. Victoria divulges the evolution of her fashion lines as “less about a perfect body and more about personality” along with her thoughts on a woman as “no longer defined by her waist size.” I can dig it.
The former pop star also coins Hilary Clinton, Sheryl Sandberg and Michelle Obama as her personal heroines while exposing appreciation for personal achievement beyond her Posh Spice years as:
“First time around I felt famous, but now I feel successful.”
Guess #GirlPower comes in every size, huh?
